    “The Nigerian Nightmare” is a Nigerian-born mixed martial artist who is currently the UFC Welterweight Champion. Usman began wrestling in high school and wrestled at William Penn University and the University of Nebraska at Kearney during his college career. In college, he earned the NCAA Division II All-American honors 3 years in a row and became the NCAA Division II national champion in 2010. After beginning his professional MMA career in 2012, Usman went on to win The Ultimate Fighter 21 which led to a UFC contract in 2015.

 

  • Colby Covington: #2 Welterweight, 7 fight win streak, 4 wins by submission, 7 wins by decision
    Colby “Chaos” Covington is a California-born mixed martial artist. Currently ranked #2 in the UFC welterweight rankings, Covington wrestled all four years in high school in Oregon and went on to win the 165lb national junior college wrestling title while at Iowa Central Community College, and transferred to Oregon State University where he became a collegiate wrestling All-American and a two-time Pac-10 Conference Champion. Covington went professional in 2012 after training at American Top Team, and went on to sign with the UFC in 2014.

    Max “Blessed” Holloway is an American mixed martial artist from Hawaii. Holloway started his fighting journey when he picked up kickboxing in high school. Today, he trains out of Gracie Technics and Legacy Muay Thai. In 2012, Holloway became the youngest fighter on the UFC roster at the age of 20 and has since fought in a number of UFC events along with defending the Featherweight title three times.

    Alexander “The Great” Volkanovski is a mixed martial artist and kickboxer from Australia. Volkanovski was previously the Australian Fighting Championship Featherweight champion and is now currently ranking #1 in the UFC featherweight rankings. He has a history in rugby in Australia and combat sport in the Oceania region of Asia, and signed on with the UFC in 2016.

    “The Lioness” is a mixed martial artist from Brazil. Nunes has a long history in different styles, including karate, boxing, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and MMA and has won numerous “Female Fighter of the Year” awards. She currently holds the championship title for both the women’s bantamweight and featherweight divisions, making her the first woman in UFC history to become a two-division champion and to hold two simultaneous titles.

 

  • Germaine de Randamie: #1 Women’s bantamweight, 4 fight win streak, 3 wins by knockout, 5 wins by decision
    “The Iron Lady”is a Dutch mixed martial artist with a background in kickboxing and Muay Thai. She is the first woman to hold the title of UFC Women’s Featherweight Champion in 2017 and is currently ranked #1 in women’s bantamweight rankings. De Randamie moved from the featherweight division to participate in the bantamweight division, and is tied with Ronda Rousey for the fastest knockout in UFC Women’s Bantamweight division.
