Downtown Rocks

All summer, Downtown Rocks has been offering its famous weekend series of free open-air concerts at the Fremont Street Experience where fans can see national acts surrounded by the lights, neon, and energy of nearby casinos and attractions. And who doesn’t love something for free? This year’s lineup is rounding out the rest of 2021 with Generation Radio, featuring members of Rascal Flatts, Journey, and Chicago, Barenaked Ladies, George Thorogood, and Motley Crue’s Vince Neil.

Punk Rock Bowling

A bowling party so big, it outgrew the bowling alley and started an entire music festival in Las Vegas. What started as two punk rock legends, the Stein brothers, wanting to throw a bowling party for their friends in the punk rock community has morphed into the rager of all ragers. This year, Punk Rock Bowling headliners include Circle Jerks, Devo, and The Descendants. Get ready for a 3-day festival with over 40 bands on 2 stages, a bowling tournament, after parties, brunch shows, daily pool parties, Punk Rock Texas Hold ‘Em Poker Tournament, and more.

Life is Beautiful

One of the most famous Downtown Las Vegas events is the Life is Beautiful festival. Spreading over 18 city blocks and backing up to casinos, including the Fremont East bar district, LIB Festival is a true celebration of music, art, and Las Vegas culture. Headliners this year include Billie Eilish, Green Day, and Tame Impala. Besides the music, attendees can enjoy a Culinary Village with food from some of the country’s top chefs, an Alchemy Garden with wines and beers, and inspirational speakers during the three-day event.

Reggae Rise Up

After much success with Reggae Rise Up in Florida, this music festival is making its inaugural debut in Las Vegas. Reggae Rise Up Las Vegas will take place at the Downtown Las Vegas Events Center and will be headlined by Dirty Heads and Slightly Stoopid. Previous festivals in Florida have gained notoriety for incredible production, killer sets, and some great vibes and are known to leverage the power of music to foster connection, community, and lift one another up. It’s sure to be a Downtown Las Vegas music festival you won’t want to miss.

Factory 93 x EDC Week

As EDC approaches, the talent in Downtown Las Vegas is hotter than ever! The week leading up to the Electric Daisy Carnival makes Las Vegas a hot spot for all things EDM, and this event is no exception. Factory 93 presents Charlotte De Witte, Eli Brown, Enrico Sangiuliano, Patrick Topping, Reinier Zonneveld, and Sita Abellan to bring a fusion of immersive live art, cutting-edge technology, and exceptionally curated house and techno to the Downtown Las Vegas Events Center. This is a great warmup for EDC Las Vegas, whether you’re going to the main event or not.

Friends Enjoying Beer at Downtown Las Vegas Brew Festival

Downtown Brew Festival

The Clark County Government Center Amphitheater hosts the Downtown Brew Festival where you can sample more than 200 beers from at least 60 different local and regional breweries. The centralized lawn area has a backyard vibe with performances from local bands and food on sale from Eureka, Slater’s 50/50, Cousins Maine Lobster, and others. Vegans will prefer the plant-based Mexican food of Tacotarian. But really, you’re here to drink. So don’t miss out on the largest beer festival of the year in Southern Nevada.

Vegas UnStripped

If you want a crash course in the Las Vegas neighborhood dining scene, Vegas UnStripped is a great place to start. Local music acts take the stage while some of the best chefs in Las Vegas serve food and drink samples. The event took a break last year during the pandemic but is coming back bigger than ever with a few surprises in store. There’s usually a friendly competitive spirit among the chefs, so expect some fun, clever dishes to show off their collective talent and ingenuity.

There is no shortage of Downtown Las Vegas shows and events to attend through the rest of the year. With nearly 2 years since we’ve had big shows, the energy is sure to be off the charts! Plan your trip to Las Vegas to be a part of all the fun, and be sure to book a room, suite, or penthouse at Golden Gate Hotel to be in the center of all the action.
