A true legend of Las Vegas, The Golden Gate continuing the spread of its vintage roots, and increasing its gaming area with a significant casino expansion. This design boasts a larger bar, exciting visual elements, and more games, all accessed through a grand, multi-story glass portal.
Guests on Fremont Street won’t miss the already popular outdoor bar and TV feature, which has been lengthened by twenty feet! Then, oversized glass doors and a glass façade provide guests with a glimpse of the fantastic interior just beyond. Gatsby himself would feel at home in the glitz and the glamour of this ’Jazz Age’ design. Once inside, impressive two story rich velvet draperies are held back with large gold medallions, which set the stage for the new guest experience. Immediately inside is a 360°, twenty-four-foot-tall video sculpture, that grows larger as it rises! At its center is a faceted chandelier, composed of beautiful and glamourous crystal spirals which cascade downward in tiers of beveled mirror millwork accents, creating a high impact array of glimmering gold. Custom inlaid marble floors of the entry rotunda lead you into the carpeted, Art Deco inspired slots area. There the energy from the modern gaming machines is balanced by rich warm mahogany and other millwork wood tones. Another cut crystal chandelier adds to the sparkle of the space.
This ‘old-meets-new’ design creates a truly nostalgic feel, evoking the spirit of the rat pack era, with the excitement of our modern world. This casino gives both young and old an equally satisfying experience in an ever-evolving world.
